2022 hottest year on record for measurements
The report comes as no special surprise. As early as mid-year, climate research organizations reported that the first póhe year was the warmest ever measuredóin whichóre have been conducted since the end of the 19th century. Despite the beaten recordóin warmth in the past three years, the voice of skepticism continues to resonate loudlyóin whichórs say global warming is a myth.
According to the analysis, the global average temperature in 2016 was 1.1 st. Celsius from pre-industrial temperature levels and by 0.07 st. Celsius higher than in the previous year, 2015. Report mówi also that 15 of the 16 warmest years on record measuredów occurred after 2001.
The report is based on an analysis of data from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), the U.S. government agency that handles weather forecasts and warnings of extreme weather events, and NASA, although similar analyses have been carried out by other major institutes – the World Meteorological Organization, the Met Office (the British national weather service affiliated with the Ministry of Defense there) or the Japan Meteorological Agency.
It should be noted that the term – global warming – does not mean that all over the planet in równly the temperature will rise.
